Inspired by the classical myth, this piece reimagines Athena, the goddess of wisdom, perched in a tree with her owls – each holding the key to knowledge. The owls, symbols of insight and foresight, surround her as she quietly observes the world. At her side, a small mouse nestled in the tree hole embodies vulnerability and innocence, reminding us that wisdom often coexists with fragility. This painting speaks to the balance between strength and vulnerability, power and humility.
