Le Chat de la Mer

Everyday around noon she takes a quick break from her job at the cafe to feed the canal cats. Some call them Mercats, some call them Purrmaids, others call them a nuisance, but she adores the way the swim and splash in the dingy waters of the canals and bat the table scraps out of her hands. All too soon her break is over and the Mercats disappear back underwater. Back to work.
