Woke up early, coffees made,
Desk is set and plans are laid.
Today is gonna be the day
I get this done, no time for play.
I sit and raise my mighty pen,
Triumphantly I start! And then—
My concentration chain has broke
And vanished in a puff of smoke.
My focus stolen by the way
The dust motes catch the sun and play,
A swirling dance devoid of sorrow.
Guess I'll get things done tomorrow
