This painting, unlike most of my others, completely lacks any deeper meaning or message. I've spent most of this year really trying to find my artistic voice, and convey, through my paintings, a deeper sense of who I am and what is important to me. And it's been a little exhausting honestly. Sometimes you have to make something stupid, simply because it brings you joy. The dumbest thing I could think of was a reverse Mer-man. fish head, man legs. Just a terrible creature to behold. But it makes me giggle and that's all that matters.
